Care2Rise is a dedicated children’s residential care provider based in the UK. Our mission is to create a stable, secure, and enriching environment for vulnerable young people. With a passionate team of trained professionals, we deliver tailored care that puts the needs of each child at the heart of everything we do.

We are committed to continuous improvement, strong safeguarding practices, and building meaningful partnerships with professionals and families to deliver the highest standards of care.

Our Therapeutic Approach

At Care2Rise, the PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) Model, led by our Clinical Director, guides our therapeutic approach. All staff are trained in PACE, allowing them to provide specialised care that fosters healing and resilience. Through this model, young people receive consistent, compassionate support tailored to their unique needs, promoting trust and positive outcomes.

Our Ethos

The ethos of the home is that children residing at Care2Rise Children’s Home receive good enough parenting that will help and support them to achieve their potential. At Care2Rise Children’s Home, staff work hard to engage and empower young people to be the best they can be to achieve their full potential.

Bilal Mahmood

Property Management & Development Manager
Bilal is an experienced Property Manager responsible for ensuring all Care2Rise homes are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environments for children and young people. With strong expertise in property maintenance and compliance, Bilal oversees repairs, inspections, and improvements to ensure homes meet the highest standards of safety and comfort. Dedicated and reliable, Bilal works closely with staff and contractors to create secure, nurturing spaces where children can thrive.

Jacque Cranston

Chartered Psychologist
Jacque is a Chartered Coaching Psychologist and Qualified Teacher with over 20 years’ experience in education, children’s homes and Children’s Services. Jacque takes a trauma-informed approach, creating safe, supportive spaces where young people can explore their mental health, build emotional regulation skills and develop resilience for the future. Jacque offers one to one, group psycoeducation coaching, support with anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD and anger management alongside practical tools, tailored resources, clinical supervision and staff workshops to strengthen trauma-aware practice.

Grant Woods

Head of HR
 
Grant is a senior HR leader with over 20 years’ experience across health, social care, and education. CIPD Level 7 qualified, he excels in workforce development, employee wellbeing, and cultural transformation. Having held senior roles in care organisations, colleges, and national charities, Grant is passionate about building inclusive, high performing environments where staff feel empowered to deliver exceptional outcomes for children and young people.

Naila Qureshi is a dedicated and experienced Director of a Children's Care Home, committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children in need. With a strong background in child welfare, safeguarding, and leadership, Naila oversees the home's operations, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and staff development. Passionate about making a positive impact, Naila works tirelessly to create a stable and enriching environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
