As someone who has been with Care2Rise since its formation nearly four years ago, I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come—not just in terms of growth, but in the quality of care we provide to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, trauma, and mental health challenges. What began as a small, passionate team has evolved into a strong and stable workforce, now supporting eight Ofsted-registered homes across London - with six rated “Good” and two awaiting their first inspection visits. These ratings are a testament to the commitment, resilience, and professionalism of our staff, many of whom have grown with us from the very start. Our robust induction process and ongoing training programmes are designed to ensure every team member feels equipped and confident to meet the complex and varied needs of the young people in our care. Professionally, this journey has been one of the most fulfilling chapters of my career. Leading services that directly impacts lives has deepened my own understanding of therapeutic care, trauma-informed practice, and the importance of building meaningful, trusting relationships with both staff and young people. There’s a deep sense of pride in knowing that our work at Care2Rise is making a tangible difference. Seeing the progress of young people—often arriving with immense challenges—and witnessing their growth, confidence, and resilience develop over time is both humbling and inspiring. Care2Rise is more than just a provider of care; it’s a community rooted in compassion, integrity, and long-term commitment to the wellbeing of children and young people. I’m honoured to be part of that mission and excited for what lies ahead.
